If the lens of the eye is exposed to ultraviolet light for too long, it can lose its transparency, potentially leading to visual impairment or vision loss. Safety eyewear lenses in accordance with EN 170 therefore meet performance requirements to protect the eye from ultraviolet radiation during hazardous activities. What lens tint do you need in bright sunlight?

Safety helmets that allow you to keep a cool head

Safety helmets can have a big impact on wearer comfort and compliance, particularly in hot conditions, so uvex has developed a range of helmets with individually adjustable climazone ventilation. Designed to move with the wearer, front and back vents allow air in to cool the head and warm air to escape at the rear. The vents can easily be opened to increase airflow through the helmet and closed to help combat the elements.
